On the 21st of October there was a meeting of various economic diplomats and business attaché in Marijampolė. Guests were introduced with Marijampolė region economic tendencies, Lithuanian agriculture activities, food production market and free comic zone “Baltic FEZ” infrastructure works and achievements.
Forum “ Verslas ir diplomatija” attracted Marijampolė FEZ management enterprise “Baltic FEZ” CEO Simonas Petrulis and others business leader of the region: UAB Marijampolė pienas board chairman Raimondas Karpavičius, UAB Mantinga CEO Kęstutis Svitojus and others. Discussions were moderated by „ARVI“ ambasador of international relations and communication Algirdas Kumža. During the event was presented Marijampolė free economic zone future plans and possibilities.
Forum participants had chance to meet with government and business representatives of the region. These meeting with Lithuania economic diplomats had started since 2000 and became yearly tradition. Not to mention, that it is a great possibility to discuss region development with economic experts and let to look for new growth possibilities.
