
On the 23rd of October, 2018, the factory of DOVISTA has been officially opened in the Baltic Free Economic Zone, which is located in South-Western region of Lithuania (Marijampole municipality).
After the first phase of the investments, the plant has settled on a plot of 17,9 hectares with an area of 22,800 square meters. From the start of the construction in 2017 in May, in Marijampole FEZ there are already two 10,800 sq. m. buildings of the DOVISTA plant – one for window production, other for the storage of raw materials and products. Also, there is 1200 sq. m. boiler constructed, which will heat both buildings and provide thermal energy for industrial processes. The DOVISTA manufacturing complex will be located in 84 % of Marijampole FEZ territory in the future.
During the first stage of construction, the company has already invested 45 mln. Euros and recruited more than 100 employees. It is planned that DOVISTA will employ up to 1000 people in the future.
Now, after the opening of the new plant in Marijampole, DOVISTA operates in eight countries around the world. Lithuania and, specifically, the Marijampolė FEZ was selected due to the actual size land plots with infrastructure, high support of the government, Marijampole municipality, the FEZ operator and other organizations, also, due to availability of the skilled labor.
