On the 19th day the Lithuanian Embassy in Belgium organized in Brussels by the economic event “Lithuanian business friendly environment – Free Economic Zones.
During the event, potential investors from Belgium were presented Lithuania operating in free economic zones (SEZ), their advantages and principles of operation. During the event, presented its activities in Klaipeda, Kaunas, Marijampole, and Siauliai Kedainiai SEZ managers.
FEZ representatives presented their purview free zones in areas provided by the potential of what they said could be attractive to foreign investors. Lithuanian businessmen also stressed that Lithuania operating in SEZ are very attractive opportunities for expanding economic ties with Eastern countries, especially China. During the event, it stressed that Lithuania has many economic ties with Scandinavia and Germany, the Benelux but opportunities are not sufficiently exploited and Lithuanian Embassy initiative is a welcome step in the development of new business relations with Belgium.
